CannaCon is one of the world’s largest cannabis industry business expo events held at multiple locations each year, from Seattle to Boston, Detroit, Sacramento, and Denver. Sara of Meridian Media was recommended to CannaCon as a strategic communications consultant in 2018.

Sara was initially hired to write web content with the website design team and SEO team, as well as create meaningful newsletters and email campaign outreach. 

The CannaCon team and Marketing Director were impressed with Sara’s skill and integrity, and since retained her to create social media and digital marketing strategy, manage social media, design collateral, write blogs and press releases, and perform successful publicity outreach campaigns. She also helped launch the CannaCon Radio podcast. Sara worked with CannaCon between 2018 and 2020 but is no longer actively managing social media, publicity, or communications outreach for the company,
